I  is an upcoming action thriller romantic tamil  indian movie, produced and distributed by V. Ravichandran under his banner production, Aascar Films. The film was scripted and directed by Shankar and has Vikram and Amy Jackson leads a cast that includes Upen Patel,suresh gopi Ramkumar Ganesan and     Santhanam portray key roles. The soundtrack and background score was composed by AR Rahman. The art direction was provided by T. Muthuraj. PC Sreeram was director of film photography and editing was made by Anthony.

The visual effects are designed by V. Srinivas Mohan through Rising Sun Pictures. Weta Workshop had worked on the composition and digital arts background and technicians for the film. Bent in Telugu and Hindi versions also are entitled I. [3] [4] The film was made with a budget of INR1.85 billion (US $ 30 million), making it the most expensive film in India to date. [1] Principal photography commenced on 15 July 2012. The shooting lasted two years and eight months, during which shooting became widely in China. [5] Other times were filmed on locations in Chennai, Bangkok, Jodhpur, Kodaikanal, Pollachi, Bangalore and Mysore.
